Motagua New Orleans started their 2015 season off on the right foot with a 2-0 win against their cross state rivals. The contest heavily favored the 2014 champions in possession early on and for much of the game, but the first half saw Cajun SC with the early chances.

Early in the second half Motagua’s, Reese Wilson, wasted no time on getting the Blue Eagles on the scoreboard. Finding himself at the top of the 18 he was able to create enough space to slot home the first goal of the season. Later in the half Elton Guity of Motagua found himself on the end of a nice through ball by Leonardo Feirrera de Barros and sent a rocket over Cajun SC keeper, Kevin Elston.
